Advantage Kazakhstan and Maxvidl LLP signed an Agreement on export support for composite lighting poles produced in Kazakhstan. Mixville launched the country’s first production of lighting poles and fiberglass pipes in November. The capacity of the production organized in Astana is more than 10 thousand poles per year. The amount of investment in the project exceeded 1 bln tenge (€2.4 mln). The poles are produced by winding of glass fiber. They exceed the characteristics of metal analogues and are cheaper to operate. The analysis of the market showed that lighting poles made in Kazakhstan are competitive in price and quality at the Russian market. The planned volume of the first export contract – from 2 to 5 thousand poles.
